Moon in Aquarius on Halloween 2014

Moon in Aquarius on Halloween 2014It’s the last day of the business week and the Moon continues its trek through social Aquarius which is an amazing energy for the ever so public holiday of Halloween.  This energy is great for connecting with friends and having an amazing time. On the spiritual level, Halloween is associated with the power of death and regeneration (after all it occurs in the sign of Scorpio) and this is a powerful time to let go of the old and begin to embrace the new in your life – this could be old relationships, old family dramas, old dysfunctional behaviors etc.   Frankly put, if it’s not working its time to let go of dead works.

Astrologically, today is a lunar day.  During the morning hours, opportunities for unexpected events or encounters could prove to be positive.   You can expect discussions about the future including the potential for promotions or new opportunities that could fall in your lap.  Later this evening, the Moon will oppose Jupiter providing a bit of fun and enjoying for your All Hallows Eve!  Just remember, nothing in excess!

Have a safe and happy Halloween.

Moon in Capricorn Moon in Capricorn

Today, the Moon continues its trek through responsibility oriented Capricorn.  Our focus will be on getting things done, achieving goals, building structure, and securing our success because physical security and day-to-day reliability matters at this time.

The Moon makes several aspects throughout the day that are rather challenging.  First up is a conjunction to volatile Pluto which can bring a feeling of being emotionally overwhelmed during the early morning hours.  Secondly, the square to Uranus after day break can rattle our cages as unexpected events or circumstances could prove annoying.  The trend continues in the afternoon as the Moon squares Mercury which could indicate difficulties communicating our thoughts, ideas, and opinions to others.  Finally, things should settle down a bit during the evening hours as the Moon creates a beneficial aspect to Saturn.

Remember, lunar aspects are quick and feeling, so try not to let them ruin your day.

Have an amazing Wednesday.

Your Daily Dose — Moon in Libra Part 2 — October 22, 2014

Moon in LIbraThe Moon in Libra

I recently had a “Your Daily Dose” reader email me and ask me about the plethora of positive astrological aspects wondering if this is a good thing.  Well, the answer is yes and no!  It reminds of a biblical passage that says, “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse” (Deuteronomy 11:26).  The problem is that it’s often difficult to discern between what are blessings and what are curses.  However, to answer the question – positive aspects can bring us a bit of relief from larger astrological cycles that may be more intrusive.  Right now, we are in eclipse season with a troublesome Mercury retrograde, an applying Jupiter square Saturn, and the long standing Uranus square Pluto.  Positive aspects help to lift our spirits in troubling times.  Conversely, they can also create laziness because we do not feel any sense of urgency (which is often when people make real movement in their lives) to create beneficial change.  Thus, we may be experiencing ‘blissful moments’, but long term satisfaction may be ignored due to complacency.

Today, the Moon continues to move through Libra instruct us to bring balance into our lives.  Take some time out today to ask yourself if any areas of your life are out of balance or are there areas of your life where you are being complacent?  If so, reflect on where you may need to put forth some extra effort in order to get the results you desire.

Have a balanced and productive day!

Moon in Libra Moon in Libra

In the morning hours, the Moon will move out of the earthy world of Virgo and into the intellectual and civilized domain of Libra.

Out of all the signs of the zodiac, Libra is the only one that is represented by an object – the scales – where all the other signs are represented by the animal kingdom in all its shapes and sizes.  What could this mean?   Simply put, Libra is probably the most human and detached from the crude survival instincts of nature than any of the other signs.

While the Moon is in Libra, the need for peace and harmony are important as is diplomacy and fairness.  People are usually better behaved while the Moon is in the sign of the scales because dark emotions are often ignored and are rather useless at this time.  In business, you will find it easy to cooperate with others and if any conflict occurs it will be handled with tact and grace.  The Moon makes no aspects throughout the day, so emotional attitudes should be rather stable.

Enjoy!

Cosmic Weather Forecast — March 26, 2009

March 26, 2009 by Storm Cestavani Leave a Comment

“Ready.  Set. Go!” is the anthem as four planets converge in the sign of Aries.  This includes the fiery and free spirited New Moon which occurs during the morning hours in most of the United States.  The New Moon always brings forth the end of one cycle, and the beginning of another.

However, this New Moon is the same degree as the solar eclipse, which occurred in the sign of Aquarius on January 26, 2009 — bringing forth the issues of late January to the surface in both mundane and personal matters.   Take a few moments to reflect on the events of your life during the end of January, and you may see new beginnings occurring in the areas of your life affected by the eclipse.

The great news is that a New Moon in Aries has enormous energy, and can provide us with the momentum necessary to create movement in a quick and effective manner.   The Sun and Moon conjoined with benefic Venus, and quick spirited Mercury provide a matrix of grasping the possible.  Although, the Moon in Aries is intense, impatient, and restless its desire to pursue the difficult and unobtainable gives us the momentum needed to reach our goals.  In addition, New Moons in Aries can jump start circumstances or situations that we have considered moving forward with, but we may as have yet had the time or motivation to initiate.

Moreover, this New Moon is squared (obstacles) the planet Pluto which rules obsessions and compulsions.   You will notice a sense of urgency (just watch the evening news about the economic crisis) over the next few weeks to turn over a new leaf, create a new plan, enact a new strategy, and begin a new phase of life.  In essence, this combination is a struggle between fear of change, and unavoidable change.  The instruction of the aspect is for us to focus on the areas of life that we can no longer afford to ignore and make a concentrated effort in utilizing this New Moon cycle to create a new productive foundation to move forward with.

We ushered in 2009 with the mantra of, “Yes, we can!”   The cosmic forces are propelling us to a new level of determination, motivation, and vision.   We will begin to hear a new roar of an Arian nature pushing forth with a new chant and new slogan of “Yes, we will!”
